Music plays a big role in the life of our school with all children receiving weekly music lessons from Mrs Beacock and singing in assemblies and Masses.
Additionally we offer the following:
School Choir
Weekly rehearsals with many opportunities for external collaboration with other local schools. Members of the school choir took part in The Schools Prom at The Royal Albert Hall in November 2008 and “The Big Blue and Green Machine” at The Tacchi Morris Centre in Taunton in March 2009.

Recorders – Lessons in Year 3
Samba Drums – Year 5
Piano – from Year 3
Brass, Woodwind, Music Technology – from Year 3 children can have lessons with peripatetic teachers from Somerset Music
KS1 Nativity – This annual musical performance gives KS1 children the chance to perform for parents and friends
KS2 Christmas Carol Service
Musical Extravaganza – a Bi-annual event organised by parents which gives all the children a chance to showcase their musical talent
