Newsletter 6 November 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope you and your families had a restful half term break. I am fully aware that I am having to send out more newsletters than normal as I want to ensure that I am communicating as much as I possibly can with you all. I cannot emphasise enough the importance of reading every letter.  I appreciate that some newsletters can look similar but please do take the time to read every one to ensure you are up to date with the latest information.

Lockdown

Head teachers are often asked if we have any extra information about government COVID announcements. The truth is we don’t get any advanced information and the first we hear is when the Prime Minister makes his announcements on national television. We don’t know what will happen in the coming weeks and months.

Lunch Times

As you are aware, cooked meals have returned to St George’s. It was a logistical challenge to make this possible but the staff have made it happen. Please remember to order meals for the week ahead by the previous Wednesday.

Friday 13th November

Just a reminder that we have mufti day on Friday 13th November. The children will be bringing in items for our Christmas raffle!

Christmas Dinner and Jumper Day

We will be having our Christmas Dinner and Jumper Day on Thursday 17th December. The lunch will be in their bubbles and will aim to keep to the times that we currently have.

Christmas Cards

Thank you for the many orders we have had for the Christmas cards designed by the children. Parents and carers are able to pay for these to our St George’s School Parent Support account. The details are:

Sort Code: 60-80-06

Account Number: 29545870

Best wishes,

Mark Braund
