On Tuesday, 28th November, class 5 had a brilliant morning at the Somerset Museum. Children impressed Goeff with their knowledge about the Tudors and took part in fun activities, which included making Tudor roses from sugar icing, quill&ink writing and recreating the portrait of Henry VIII.
Thursday, 9th November
Today at our assembly we sang two carols from different countries.
We were learning the German carol "Stille Nacht" and a Polish one - "Lulajże Jezuniu" .

We learned about the Jewish festival of Passover (Pesach).
We talked about certain types of food eaten at the Seder meal, and the reasons behind it. We made our own Seder plates in an Art lesson.
