Class 5

Thank you Class 5 and your families. Have a wonderful summer!

On Tuesday, 28th November, class 5 had a brilliant morning at the Somerset Museum.  Children impressed Goeff with their knowledge about the Tudors and took part in fun activities, which included making Tudor roses from sugar icing, quill&ink writing and recreating the portrait of Henry VIII.
Do you remember the TRUE/FALSE  quiz about the Tudors? Some of the questions asked by Goeff:
Was Henry the VII the first Tudor monarch? YES/NO
Tudor Rose is made out of two families' emblems - The Lancasters and The Yorks. Y/N
Henry VIII defeated the Spanish Armada.   Y/N
Elizabeth I owned more than 2000 dresses.  Y/N

Do you know the correct answers to these questions?
