Class 4

Welcome to the Class 4 page of the website. We hope you find it very useful!
In June, Class Four children will be taking the National Multiplication Check. We will be learning times tables in school through the year and we will be practising the on line check using the test format. Please use the resources below to help your child to learn their times tables this year. TT Rockstars is a fun way to learn your times tables .

The link to the Times Tables Check (below)  is the resource that comes closest to the format of the actual official multiplication check.
We use White Rose Maths as our planning resource . Maths homework is linked to the White Rose planning and is often a Mathletics task chosen to reinforce the in class learning. Please see the links below to White Rose Maths and Mathletics.
We use the Literacy and Language Scheme to teach Literacy. Please see the Curriculum overview for the topics taught.
We supplement Literacy and Language with Headstart Spelling and Headstart Grammar. Spellings and Homework are shared via Google Docs weekly. Please see Google Docs for examples of spelling lists.
