Select Phase 5, Buried Treasure Game or Picnic Pluto and select alternative sounds…and play. Child to compete for more points each time.
Sound Snap (See enclosed printable resource)
Child to practise reading the sounds… (using the pictures to help with the sounds). Then read out the word.
Print two sheets out. Cut out all the cards. Adult to play with one set of cards; child the other. Adult to select a card and say a sound and count down from 5,4,3,2,1 then child must beat adult to lay down the correct card.

Play word bingo with a set of cards and a complete sheet to lay down the cards.
Coin addition. Please practise visual adding of coins (1p, 2p, 5p, 10p) using counting objects alongside to help with coin value…ie dried shell pasta. Try to double value in your head (as doubling is secure up to double 10).
