Library

Our Library is will be opening at lunchtimes and after school from September 2022.  We now have two libraries - one for Key Stage One in the hall and one for Key Stage Two in the cabin on the field. Sing up to Library Club.
Sign up to become a Library Ambassador this year. Have your own shelf and make book recommendations. Be the first to sample any new books. Help to re-shelve and catalogue.
Authorfy is a site which provides inspirational creative writing videos from famous children's book authors.
Parents can create a free account at the link below to gain access to these brilliant resources while the children are at home. Do give it a try, I think they are wonderfully encouraging for young writers!

Our gold subscription to the School Library Service, Resources for Learning gives your child access to a fantastic selection of e-books. Please follow the link below and login using the username and password. If your child does not have these details at home, please email the school office and they will be sent to you.

Learn to draw with Rob Biddulph!

The amazing children's book illustrator Rob Biddulph is regularly posting videos on his website which will teach you to draw some characters that you will recognise from books we have in school. I would love to make a display in the library of any artwork that you bring in when we all return to school.

Happy drawing!
Don't forget to sign up for and take part in this summer's Summer Reading Challenge. See the link on this page for details. The school will be hosting a celebration assembly when we return to school. Please bring in your certificates and we will present them to you there.
Book displays outside the library change regularly and might just inspire you to pick up a new book!
We are always very grateful for the many generous donations of books that families give to our library and we are happy to listen to any requests or recommendations that pupils make.
WHEN IN DOUBT - HEAD TO THE LIBRARY!
