This Week in School
The children have settled in very nicely to the new school year and are working hard. It is always a highlight of my day when teachers bring a child along to my office to share the achievements they have made, whether it is a high standard of work and presentation, or progress in achieving something they once found tricky. I was out on a two-day conference for Headteachers this week, so my time with the children was cut a little short this week. However, I managed to make it back in time for our Golden Book Assembly, to hear all about the fantastic things going on in each classroom. I left the assembly smiling as always, and proud of the hard work and effort that the children and staff put into making learning fun.
St Margaret’s Hospice – School Mufti Day
On Friday, 7th October, we will be supporting this worthy charity by holding a mufti day. We are asking children to wear an item of yellow clothing and bring £1.
Parent’s Evening
The booking system to book your child’s parent teacher meeting will open at 9am tomorrow, Saturday 24th September. We do apologise that a ‘test booking’ went live last week; we were training a staff member to use the system and this went live in error.
Booking details have been sent to new parents as a paper copy in your child’s bookbag. The login details remain the same for all other parents. If you have any trouble logging in, or have forgotten your login details, please contact the school office.
