Jublilee Year of Hope Page

Here is our Jubliee Year of Hope Powerpoint to children. It outlines our mission for the year and how our Jubliee actions link to our Live Simply Award .
Our Assembly to celebrate World Peace Day. 
On Thursday 6th March , Mervyn Amesbury visited the school and led a whole school assembly on the impact of funds raised by The Big Lent Walk. He also led three workshops informing children of the origins of a Jubilee Year. 
On April 22nd the staff took part in a 'Pilgrimage of Study' between Mary Harris Chapel in Exeter and Exeter Catheral to reflect on the hope that education brings. 
Each Key Stage has had a Jubilee Year assembly and we have reflected on the Jubilee Icon and its meaning. Pupils took home an information sheet about the icon to share with families. 
We dressed in the Pilgrims of Hope colours and brought in donations for CAFOD. 
Neil Peixico took our new Chaplains through our Jubilee Door of Hope on the first day of the new term to kick off our Jubilee Year celebrations.
