September 2021 Update
Over the summer break, we will be setiing up a second library space in the cabin on the field. From September 2021, we hope to reopen our school library to all children.
Each class will be able to book a library slot and children will be issued books using our Libresoft system.
It will still be possible to reserve books on line using Libresoft without physically visiting the library.
Full details for the use of the Libresoft system are available through the Library Club Classroom in our G Suite - if you have any problems accessing this please speak to your class teacher or the school office.

We still have on online classroom on our G-suite domain called Library Club where there is an ongoing chat about book recommendations and many links to online resources for you to use at home.
Links to this year's Hay Festival remain on line as do all of the links used for this year's World Book Day.
Many authors and illustrators of children's books have posted videos suitable for primary school aged children on YouTube. Please remember online safety advice, be present when your child is accessing YouTube, and ensure that the Autoplay function is OFF.
Happy Reading!
Authorfy is a site which provides inspirational creative writing videos from famous children's book authors.
Parents can create a free account at the link below to gain access to these brilliant resources while the children are at home. Do give it a try, I think they are wonderfully encouraging for young writers!
Our gold subscription to the School Library Service, Resources for Learning gives your child access to a fantastic selection of e-books. Please follow the link below and login using the username and password. If your child does not have these details at home, please email the school office and they will be sent to you.
Learn to draw with Rob Biddulph!
The amazing children's book illustrator Rob Biddulph is regularly posting videos on his website which will teach you to draw some characters that you will recognise from books we have in school. I would love to make a display in the library of any artwork that you bring in when we all return to school.
Happy drawing!
Don't forget to sign up for and take part in this summer's Reading Challenge. See the link on this page for details. The school will be hosting a celebration assembly when we return to school. Please bring in your certificates and we will present them to you there.
Book displays outside the library change regularly and might just inspire you to pick up a new book!
We are always very grateful for the many generous donations of books that families give to our library and we are happy to listen to any requests or recommendations that pupils make.
Sign up to become a Library ambassador this year. Have your own shelf and make book recommendations. Be the first to sample any new books.
Our Library is will be opening every week after school from September 2021. We will e mail new arrangements for popping in to borrow a book. We now have two libraries - one for Key Stage One in the hall and one for Key Stage Two in the cabin on the field. We have so many books for loan that we need more space !
Visit the library each week on line. See if you can find books that link to your curriculum topic.
Use the library to read on line and complete your Bug Club activities. Use the library for personal research.
