2nd April 2026
Dear Parents and Carers,
This week’s Book Review
Please enjoy reading these fantastic book reviews from James H and Oliver in Year 6. Oliver’s book review was longer than displayed, so with his permission, we have included the full review as an attachment so the school community can enjoy it in its entirety! Well done on your hard work, boys!
Good Luck, Mrs Chidgey
I’m sure you will join us in wishing good luck to Mrs Chidgey, who is starting her maternity leave this afternoon. She has been truly outstanding, showing unwavering dedication and consistently giving her all to our pupils.
We wish her all the very best for this exciting new chapter and look forward to meeting the newest member of the Chidgey family in due course! Mrs Earp has kindly offered to work full time in the Summer Term in Year 5 to ensure the children have consistency and familiarity for the remainder of this year. We are grateful for her dedication and commitment too!
Stations of the Cross
Thank you to Mrs Earp, staff and pupils for two wonderful Stations of the Cross Services this week. These presented a perfect time to reflect on the journey Jesus made; a journey marked by suffering, courage and love.
As we moved through each station, we were invited to reflect not only on these events, but on what they mean for us in our own lives — how we show kindness, compassion and respect to one another, even in difficult moments. Thank you to our parents and carers for attending and showing their support.
We wish you a happy and blessed Easter break and look forward to seeing you on Monday 20th April when the school re-opens.

Headteacher
