The deadline for applications is 31st October 2025.

Parents Evenings

Monday 20th October – Parents’ Evening 5.00 pm – 7.30 pm

Tuesday 21st October – Parents’ Evening 3.00 pm – 5.30 pm

The online booking system is open, so book your parent-teacher meeting now.

Please note that these appointments are designed as short, 5-minute sessions to discuss how your child is settling into their new year group.

We politely ask parents and teachers to keep timing in these sessions. When appointments overrun, it creates a knock-on effect that can disrupt the schedule for everyone. Other parents may be kept waiting and the sessions can run significantly late. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us stick to the allocated time slots.

If you have a specific concern about your child that requires a longer discussion, please arrange a separate meeting with your child's class teacher outside of these sessions. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Parent Support Group - Cheese and Wine Evening

Join us for a relaxed and enjoyable Cheese and Wine Night hosted by the Parent Support Group (PSG) on Thursday, 16th October, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm in the School Hall.

This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to connect, share ideas, and explore ways we can support our school community together. Enjoy a selection of wines and cheeses while getting to know fellow parents and learning more about how you can get involved with the PSG.

Wine, cheese and soft drinks will be provided.

There are still spaces available, so click here to secure your free ticket now. Registering in advance helps us ensure there's plenty of wine, cheese, and good company to go around. We look forward to seeing you there!

Harvest Mass

Sunday 19th October – Harvest Family Mass at St George’s Church, 9.15 am

We will hold our annual Harvest Family Mass this year at St George’s Church on Sunday 19th October. This will be at 9.15am. We are asking that members of the choir are present to add their lovely voices to the occasion. In addition, if your child is interested in reading at the Mass, do encourage them to let me know and I will try my best to find them a part. This will be on a first come, first served basis and selected children will receive a permission slip and a copy of their reading to take home. Readers will need to be available on the day and arrive at Church early, at 9.00am, so we can prepare. We hope you can join us!

Harvest Festival

Thursday 23rd October – KS1 Harvest Festival Service in School 9.30am

Friday 24th Oct – KS2 Harvest Festival Service in School, 9:30am

Please see the attached message from our chaplains ‘Harvest of Helpfulness’ regarding our Harvest Festival Collections.

Amenities/Swimming Contributions

Please can I remind all parents and carers that each year, we ask for a voluntary contribution of

£10 per term per child for swimming, and £10 per term for each family for School Amenities.

The school has always traditionally asked parents and carers for an amenity contribution. The Amenities Fund allows the school to give children extra opportunities and experiences such as visiting artists, performers and sport companies. We feel it is crucial that the children continue to have these WOW moments and with the rising costs of funding school everts and maintaining and running the swimming pool, we would really appreciate your contribution to allow this to continue.

Payments for Swimming and Amenities can be paid online; details are as follows:

Bank Account Number: 02887152 Sort-Code: 30-98-45

Please quote reference S for Swimming and A for Amenities

School Photographs

Just a reminder that Tempest Photography will be visiting on Friday 17th October to take the annual school photographs. Every child will have their photograph taken. The photographer will be available to take family photographs with any younger pre-school children between 8 – 9 in the morning. Please bring them to the school office and you will be directed down to the Sports Hall.

Best wishes,

Edwina McDonnell

Headteacher
