30th January 2026
Dear Parents and Carers,
Parents Evening
Parents’ Evening will take place on Monday 9th February and Tuesday 10th February. Thank you to the parents and carers who have already booked an appointment. A small number of slots are still available, so please book as soon as possible if you have not yet done so. If you experience any difficulties accessing the online booking system, the school office will be happy to help.
Expectations at Drop Off
We would like to remind parents and carers that children must not be left unsupervised before the start of the school day.
The school provides supervision for pupils in several ways each morning:
- Breakfast Club (paid) from 7.45am
- Wake and Shake Club (free) from 8.40am
- Classrooms open to all pupils from 8.50am
If your child is not attending Breakfast Club or Wake and Shake, they remain under parental responsibility and must be supervised until classrooms open.
We have recently noticed a number of Year 6 pupils gathering unsupervised in the car park from around 8.15am. Leaving pupils unattended here presents a very real safeguarding concern due to the movement of cars in this area.
To ensure pupils are appropriately supervised each morning, we ask our families to:
- Remain with your child on the playground until drop-off time
- Make use of our morning clubs if you are not available to supervise your child
- If necessary, ask a trusted parent or carer to ‘keep an eye’ on your child briefly before classrooms open
Thank you, as always, for your cooperation and support in ensuring our mornings are safe, calm and well-organised for everyone.
CAFOD Appeal
We are pleased to support Victoria A and her dad in their charitable appeal for CAFOD this term. We have attached a poster with today’s newsletter detailing the 1km race that Victoria is undertaking, alongside her father who is running a half-marathon in aid of CAFOD. Good luck to them both and if you would like to support them, please follow this link: www.justgiving.com/page/victoria-a
