Happy St Patrick's Day!
We celebrated St Patrick, the patron Saint of Ireland, by raising the Irish flag, to the delight of the resident Irish crew at St. George's. Jamie and Phoebe's Irish eyes were definitely smiling!
If you would like to find out more about this saint, have a look at the powerpoint attached.
On Wednesday, 3rd March we are holding the ‘St George’s CAFOD Walk for Water’ event. Please read the letter below to find out how we will run the event at home and in school. You can also donate at the St George's 'Go Fund Me' page. All donations go directly to CAFOD to support communities where clean, safe and accessible drinking water is badly needed.

Watch this space to see the final total collected... we are aiming to raise £400!

December 2020 Chaplaincy Team Food Drive
The St George's Chaplaincy Team would like to thank all of our wonderfully generous St George's families who donated to our food appeal for The Open Door homeless charity and the Taunton Food Bank.
We were blown away by the response, as the donations, when put together, filled the busy room! Both charities were extremely appreciative for the much needed donations, and sent their heart felt thanks, via Mr Davies, who kindly delivered the donations.
Well done to our wonderful school community!
CAFOD Harvest Appeal 2021
Thank you to all those in our St George's Community who donated to our CAFOD Harvest appeal. We are inspired by the words of the Prophet Isaiah, who said:

'Feed the hungry,
    and help those in trouble.
Then your light will shine out from the darkness,
and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.'

Isaiah 58:10
